As I promised in my last post, there would be more of Anna and Lars’ southern interests to follow. And what better way to celebrate Independence Day than a girl and her gun? For Anna’s bridal portraits, she brought some props that gave a little insight into her spunky and very diverse background. She loves guns and obviously knows how to handle them (you’ll see some of her in action below). She is also multicultural (hence¬†the Chinese umbrella). As the Director of the Confucius Institute at NC State, Anna works to “enhance understanding between the U.S. and China” through language and culture programs. Most of her childhood was spent in China while her parents served as missionaries. She went to a regular, Chinese speaking school during those years and now impresses and surprises people whenever¬†she starts conversing in fluent Chinese.

This was definitely the most unique bridal session I’ve ever had, and I’m sure it will remain that way for a long time. Anna is one special lady and I’m so happy she found an equally interesting man to be her partner in life.
