A storyteller at heart.
In addition to freelance photography, I capture images for a variety of non-profits, including Special Olympics Minnesota, Arrive Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, and Crescent Cove.
I also write and take photographs for local magazines and newspapers. Some publications where my work has been published are the Star Tribune, Triangle Tribune, WALTER Magazine, Durham Magazine, Midtown Magazine, and Chapel Hill Magazine.
As a personal project, I partnered with Arrive Ministries in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a non-profit that helps refugees and immigrants transition to a new life in the United States. My work with them is an extension of a year-long project I did with Durham World Relief in 2020. I captured the lives of refugees and volunteers and the final images were displayed at the Durham Arts Guild.
