Mary and Miguel

Two of my favorite photography moments in 2020 were definitely these shoots with Mary and Miguel. Just when Covid was starting to be a “thing” we walked around the Art Museum when no one was even considering masks or social distancing yet.

They were silly, adventurous, and totally in love. I couldn’t wait for the wedding in the Fall.

And then, because of Covid, Mary and Miguel decided to do a quick courthouse wedding combined with a fun photoshoot in the mountains. It was such a gift for me to get to travel for this shoot despite everything going on. I wore a mask, we distanced, and everything felt so different from the first time we met. And even though it was cold and rainy, these two made it so much fun…Miguel even wore special “photoshoot socks”.

I am a super fan of these two.

These two were a sweet example of how love wins, even in a pandemic. They adapted and made it work and I love that they started their lives together that way.
